Presentation	This speech will introduce the cognitive neuroscience of aging from the perspective of brain and psychological science to explore the human life course and apply the knowledge to the issues of cognitive development and aging. This speech will also include the brain structural and functional changes during the aging process; changes in cognitive and perceptual functions such as memory, attention, and language; the effect of environmental and learning. We will discuss the possible neural and physiological mechanisms behind cognitive enhancement and brain plasticity to explore the long-term effects of education, mental process activities, exercise, social and cognitive training on the aging of the brain as well as the possible strategies of dementia prevention and intervention.
