This course is designed for students to acquire Mandarin and Chinese culture.
Students are expected to:
- be able to comprehend short dialogues and passages read or spoken by Chinese natives at normal speed with familiar vocabulary.
- be able to ask and answer questions in Chinese in class and conduct simple daily conversations.
- be able to comprehend short written passages with familiar vocabulary.
