International Political Economy – 111 Academic Year

This course is provided by the NYCU Center for Human Sciences.

The purpose of this course is to introduce the development and current status of international political economy.
The design of this course aims to familiarize students with major issues in the field of international political economy and to enable them to grasp and utilize relevant theories and analytical tools to understand contemporary global developments.
The course covers several important issues in international political economy, such as international trade and investment, global finance and currencies, regional integration, global financial crises, and global manufacturing systems. Through the lectures and training provided in this course, it is expected to stimulate students' understanding and interest in the key political and economic trends that influence global affairs today, thereby cultivating students' ability to independently think about and analyze these issues.
