材料力學是各類工程學問(如材料、土木、機械等領域)的重要起點之一。課程旨在培養學生邏輯思考能力、解析現實可能面對的工程問題與熟稔可變形體力學之相關知識。課程主要探討不同結構(如桿、軸)
在承受不同載重形式(如軸力、扭矩、剪力、彎矩)下,所產生之行為反應(如應力、應變、變形、位移、應變能)等。
透過本課程,學生將具備材料設計與未來就業實務的基礎能力。
