與子同遊微積分的父親

開始開放式課程的因緣際會,始於其子上了大學後,由於高中與大學微積分銜接出現空隙所碰到的難題, 當他點開了交通大學開放式課程的頁面,他覺得他已找到了完美的解決方案。並告訴他的小孩,可以多重複觀看幾次,將交大開放式課程當成另外一種形式的家教,用以為其大學的課程補強。孩子在耳濡目染與父親以身作則的情形下,開始成了交通大學開放式課程的使用者。
參與檢定並不是為了取得證照,而是想了解自己學習的程度,他並表示,只要微積分與數學的影音課程繼續提供,定會繼續完成並參與每年後續的檢定以為自我檢測。徐先生堪稱是家庭教育與終身學習的典範。
